Macau, China

June 2 - 3, 2007 (Macau, China)
James and I took a ferry to Macau, a former Portuguese colony. We checked out the casinos there and I was pretty impressed with the overall scene as they are expanding quickly and many of the US Las Vegas Casinos are opening locations here. I checked out Largo do Senado, the town square with a heavy Portuguese influence, Then walking up through the various shop-lined streets, I arrive at the historic Monte Fort and the Ruinas de Sao Paulo. Kun Lam statue was next followed by Macau Tower. At night, we saw the water fountains of the Wynn casino, had a Portuguese meal and hung out in the casinos, watched some performers and high-rollers drop millions in a few minutes. The next day, I wandered around Macau's Fisherman's Wharf with architectural styles from around the World before crossing the Border back into Mainland China.
