2003_0521_85 Upon arriving in Wellington at nightwe checked into the Wellington Youth Hostel
2003_0521_86 The hostel was fairly decent, clean and we had our own room and bathroom too.

2003_0521_90 We ate at the Tug Boat on the Bay restaurant, a nice seafood restaurant on a tug boat on the water.

2003_0522_05 We drove to the Omega rental car lot to return our rental car. We would take the ferry over to Picton to pick up a new car. How are they going to get these cars out!?

2003_0522_11 We boarded the Interislander "cruise ship" that runs between Wellington on the North Island and Picton on the South Island.
2003_0522_12 The Interislander has 9 decks, uses 60 crew members, can transport 997 passengers and burns 50 litres of diesel per minute.
