2003_0520_06 Diane and Jen getting comfortable in the backseat of the rental car at the beginning of our 8 day road trip throughout New Zealand.

2003_0520_12 What a weird information center with a one trailer resembling a sheep and this one a dog.
2003_0520_13 I guess this is the shepherd tending to the sheep and dog

2003_0520_17 Howard goes zorbing! Theyll put me in a giant plastic ball and roll me down a hill!
2003_0520_19 I change into "water gear" as I will be soon soaked while I do the "wet zorb"
2003_0520_20 There are 2 types of zorbing: wet and dry. In the dry zorb, they strap you to the side of the zorb and in the wet zorb, they dump water into the zorb with you.
2003_0520_21 Here's me and the 9 foot plastic zorb before I hop in and get over a dozen gallons of water dumped in with me!
2003_0520_23 Zorbs at the bottom of the hill before they are "carried" back up the hill on a zorb-lift conveyer belt system.
2003_0520_24 After my 45 second roll down the hill. It was the closest thing I'll ever get to being in a washing machine!
2003_0520_25 I'm all wet and cold but it was an awesome ride. I highly recommend it if you're ever in New Zealand as I believe this is the only place in the World where you can do this.
2003_0520_26 Opening of the zorb where it "gave birth to me" after I was done with the ride.
2003_0520_29 We checked out Kuirau Park with its many thermal pools and springs. Jen's waterproof jacket came in handy in the rain.
2003_0520_32 Steam from the thermal springs rises all around us
2003_0520_38 Sometimes the steam is so dense you can barely see in front of you
2003_0520_48 Pathetic-looking tress that probably can't stand the heat of the steam
