Italy Trip - Tuscany

November 25, 2001 (Chianti Region/San Gimignano, Italy)
The Chianti region encompasses the small towns and villages in the region between Siena and Florence. It is world-renowned for the wines that are produced from this region and driving through the rolling hills of Tuscany and vineyards was one of the advantages of having a rental car. San Gimignano is outside of the Chianti region but is still part of Tuscany. It is a medieval town known for its towers that represented wealth in the 13th century.
