Italy Trip - Milan

November 26, 2001 (Milan, Italy)
Milan is the industrial, banking and fashion capital of Italy. The main point of interest is the Duomo and surprisingly after visiting about a dozen other Duomos and churches on the trip thus far, this one did not disappoint. The grandiose nature and intricate artwork kept it interesting. Aside from that, there was not much else to see. The roads of Milan are extremely tough to navigate. Don't attempt to drive by yourself without a competent navigator.

McDonalds was everywhere in Italy. We were curious about the menu and how it differs. The one notable inclusion is the McPink. McScary if you ask me.

Gelato shops were everywhere. This one was very nicely decorated at a place called Tre Gazelle in the Galleria.

We battled the horribly marked roads and traffic to get here only to discover they are closed on Mondays.

Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" 1495-98. The painting occupies the entire wall at the end of the reflectory and is considered one of the World's greatest masterpieces of art.
