Italy Trip
November 22 - 27, 2001 (Italy)
This Italy trip was planned at the last minute after United had released e-fares for the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. I went with my apartment-mate Anish, high school friend Dan, and we met up with my college friend Jack, who had just moved out to Milan on a 4-month assignment for work.
It was a quick 5-day whirl-wind tour of Northern Italy that completely impressed us. We had a vague plan, a rental car reservation and a spirit for adventure that took us on a great ride! The weather was great and the food was spectacular. Jack and Dan were able to tag-team and get us by with their limited knowledge of Italian, but we found that even without it, most people that we encountered spoke at least a little bit of English.
