10th Annual Ski Trip - Sun Valley, ID

This year's trip will be at Sun Valley, ID. A little out of the way, but
it is a goal to hit all the major resorts out West. Sun Valley is known for
it's sunshine (80% sunny days), highest lift capacity per skier per hour of any
resort, and some consider it the
best ski mountain in the country: "Sun
Valley boasts two fabulous mountains: Baldy, considered by serious skiers as
this country's single best ski mountain, and Dollar, a beginner's paradise with
gentle, sunny slopes groomed to perfection. "

| Schedule Dates are President's Day Weekend with the following rough schedule : Thu 2/17: Fly into Boise, ID (airport code BOI) Fri 2/18: Ski, hot tub, dinner, nightlife Sat 2/19: Ski, hot tub, sleigh-ride dinner? Sun 2/20: Ski or snowshoe through the Sun Valley nordic park with 8 km of snowshoe tracks Mon 2/21: Prez Day, Ski 1/2 day or relax or other activity and fly home | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ground Transportation We will likely rent cars. The shuttle service runs infrequently and is about $50-60 one way. Let's try to shoot for 3 sets of car departures from BOI (early afternoon, evening, late). We'll add more cars and times as more people sign up. It's about a 2.5 hour drive to Sun Valley so try not to book a flight that gets in past 9pm. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
